Diocese of Alexandria’s 100th Anniversary Mass

August 6, 2010 Marks the 100th anniversary of the Diocese of Alexandria, LA. The anniversary Mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in downtown Alexandria on Friday, August 6th and Radio Maria will be there to broadcast live. Tune in at 5:30pm central, 6:30pm eastern, and join in this special Mass. Bishop Ronald Herzog will be accompanied by at least fifteen visiting Bishops as well as all of the priests of the Diocese of Alexandria in celebrating this momentous occasion.
St Bernard Jubilee Mass – July 11th

St. Bernard Catholic Church in Springfield, OH is celebrating it’s 150th Anniversary and they have invited you to join them. On Sunday, July 11th, Archbishop Dennis Schnurr, of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, will be joined by almost a dozen priests in celebrating a Jubilee Mass to mark this occasion.
You can join in the celebration by tuning in to Radio Maria’s live coverage of this special event. The Mass will begin at 11:30/10:30c and can be heard on the Radio Maria radio network as well as around the world over the internet. Radio Maria will be broadcasting LIVE from the 2010 Steunbenville South Catholic Youth Conference. Over 3000 teens will gather at the Rapides Parish Coliseum in Alexandria for a weekend of renewal, prayer and fellowship. Radio Maria will carry the Keynote talks from Friday and Saturday evenings as well as the Masses on Saturday Sunday Mornings.

New Pro-Life Program

There is a new Pro-Life program on Radio Maria. Tuesdays at noon eastern, 11:00am central Steve Koob hosts the program “The Quest for a Culture of Life in America” an hour long program interviewing people involved in promoting and building the Pro-Life movement in America. Tune in each week for this exciting program.
Spring Mariathon 2010

From Monday May 17th through Thursday May 20th. Radio Maria will be holding it’s 2010 Spring Mariathon. Radio Maria is funded 100% by the generosity of our listeners and we need your help in continuing the ministry of Our Lady.

The family of Radio Maria would like to extend to you a very happy Easter and we invite you to join with us in celebrating the triumph of Christ over death. We pray that your journey through Lent was fruitful and filled with many great blessings and that you have entered this holy season of Easter with a deeper faith and appreciation for the gifts from God.
Christ has promised us so many abundant graces through a devotion and commitment to God’s Divine Mercy. As we look into the Easter season; we begin to reflect on God’s Mercy and invite you to pray with us in the Novena to the Divine Mercy every afternoon at 4:10/3:10c between the Chaplet and Rosary.
On the evenings of April 4-7 we will be broadcasting a special Divine Mercy mini-series with Fr. Pablo Straub at 8:30/7:30c and on Divine Mercy Sunday (April 11) we will be broadcasting the concluding Mass from the Divine Mercy Conference in Lafayette, LA.
We hope that you will join us throughout this beautiful season as we celebrate the gifts of God and strive to grow ever deeper in our faith.
Solemnity of the Annunciation – Dayton, OH

March 25 is the Feast of the Annunciation and Radio Maria will be broadcasting a Mass and Talk from St. Mary Catholic Church in Dayton, OH. The Mass will be celebrated be Fr. Francis Tandod and will begin Thursday evening at 7/6c. Following the Mass, Fr. Bert Buby will present the talk: “What does the Gospel of James (non-canonical) say about Mary? Can/must we believe?”. Forgiveness and Healing Series

Radio Maria is proud to present a six week Lenten series with Fr. Satish Joseph entitled Forgiveness and Healing. Fr. Satish will be exploring the scarring affects our past experiences have on our daily lives and how we can find healing and wholeness through the “abundance of life” that Christ offers us in Jn 10:10.

First Saturday Devotion – March

This Saturday Radio Maria will continue live coverage of the First Saturday Speaker Series from the Sanctuary of the Divine Mercy in Chicago, IL. The broadcast will begin at 5:00PM central with the Holy Mass and will be followed by the recitation of the Holy Rosary.
After the recitation of the Rosary has concluded there will be a talk given by Fr. Peter Heidenrich entitled “Evil from Inside and Outside of the Soul.”
