My Writings. My Thoughts.
Radio Maria is a tool of evangelization which serves the Catholic Church in the United States, as a radio network committed to calling for conversion through programming which offers plenty of space for prayer, catechism and human development.
On Monday, December 9th, The Feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mary we drew the names of the winners of the Radio Maria Immaculate Conception Sweepstakes.
We would like to congratulate the three winners of the sweepstakes.
Our grand prize winner of a trip for two to the Holy Land or Medjugorje
was Carol M. from from Green Bay, WI
Second prize, $1000, went to Sue C. of Lake Charles, LA
and third prize, $500, went to Walter W. of Armstrong Creek, WI
Thank you to all of you that participated in this year’s sweepstakes and congratulations to our winners.
Dear Family of Radio Maria,
As we celebrate Thanksgiving these days, please join us in giving thanks to God for the gift of our Catholic Faith and for Mother Mary– “Star of the New Evangelization.” She has entrusted her Mission to us, as unworthy as we are.
And as part of the World Family of Radio Maria, we give thanks for YOU! Without you, our listeners, volunteers, and benefactors this mission would not exist. We count on you as surely as you are counting on us.
Let us pray with Pope Francis for all who follow Her Son:
“Star of the New Evangelization, help us to bear radiant witness to communion, service, ardent and generous faith, justice and love of the poor, that the joy of the gospel may reach to the ends of the earth, illuminating even the fringes of the world.”
Mother of the Living Gospel, wellspring of happiness for God’s little ones, pray for us.
(Concluding prayer to his Apostolic Exhortation: Evangelii Gaudium)
Dear friends Presidents, Directors, collaborators and listeners of Radio Maria in the world, few days ago I returned home after two months in the hospital and I need to express to all of you my personal thanks for the many prayers and greetings received, especially in the most difficult days.
It was an hard experience for me. Now I’m home and after a recovery period I can resume normal activities.
Thank you again.
