Francesca Franchina, MS Ed. talks with Pam Long, Regional Director of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Catholic Social Action Office, Dayton, OH about her ADVENTURESOME trip to Africa this past summer, visiting  artisans who  design and make the unique handmade, holiday gifts of jewelry, clothing, home décor items, toys, ornaments  and   farmers who raise the coffee, chocolate  from more than twenty five developing countries for The Fair Trade Sale held at Bergamo/Mount St. John; 4400 Shakertown Rd.; Beavercreek, OH, 45430 on  Saturday, December 3, 2011 from   9:00 AM ­ 4:00 PM.   Local area residents from these developing countries  provide entertainment throughout the day. All products are sourced from a nonprofit, 100% fair trade organization to ensure the artisans and farmers are treated with dignity and respect. FRANCESCA FRANCHINA, MS Ed. talks with Sr. Celia Chua, MIC, STD of Montreal, Canada and Visiting Professor/ Faculty Member of the Pontifical International Marian Research Institute  at the University of Dayton Marian Library about the Second Asia Oceania Mariological Conference, Mary and the New Evangelization: Perspectives for An Integral Human Development held September  8-12, 2011 in the Philippines at Liba, the site of  the  Marian Apparition Shrine of Our Lady of Grace in preparation for the 2012 Synod of Bishops to be held in Rome. Sr. Celia will discuss her presentation Mary, Woman of Gratuitousness for an Integral Human Development  and the  elements and  challenges  presented by Mary and The New Evangelization, and the connectors discussed  in the conference that have a meaning for all of us.
