August 31, 2013 – The Five Step Jump Start Program

The best way to maintain health and fight illness is to use the five steps in my Five-Step Jump Start Program, which include:

  • 1) eating a well-balanced “jump-start” diet
  • 2) detoxifying regularly to eliminate toxins
  • 3) using enzyme, vitamin, and mineral supplements
  • 4) exercising daily
  • 5) having a positive mental attitude (which includes prayer)

August 17, 2013 – Diet and Disease: Cardiovascular Disorders

In this episode, I will discuss cardiovascular disease (CVD), the leading cause of death in the United States. CVD includes anything that involves the heart and blood vessels, including heart attacks, coronary artery disease, and strokes – all conditions in which high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, and other factors can play a part. Diet can affect all of these factors. Prayer and medication help reduce the stressful effects of CVD.

August 10, 2013 – Diet and Disease: Cancer

Most authorities believe that diet is at the heart of many different types of cancer. In fact, the World Health Organization says that our diets contribute to at least 30% of all cancers in the U.S. and other Western countries. A poor diet can increase your odds of developing cancer, just as a healthy diet can help you to reduce your risk of cancer. I will discuss the foods that promote cancer and those that fight cancer, such as the foods I ate to beat melanoma. Also, prayer and meditation are used to reduce stress and to give supernatural support.

August 03, 2013 – Healthy Eating 101

In this episode, I will discuss how we can break bad habits and improve our diets by implementing my 10-Step Super Nutrition Program which includes:

  • eating breakfast every day
  • drinking less fruit juice and fewer sugar-sweetened beverages
  • eating more friendly fiber
  • cutting out the fat
  • eating more fruits and vegetables
  • eating less fast food and fewer snacks
  • stepping away from the screen
  • exercising every day
  • getting enough rest
  • losing weight, if necessary

 

All steps are accompanied by prayer.
