Kathleen presents the Congregation for the Clergy’s initiative on “Eucharistic Adoration for Priests and Spiritual Maternity”. She announces that in accord with the wishes and encouragement of the Holy See, she is on the founding team of a new apostolate, “Catholics for the Sanctification of Priests”. This is a global Eucharistic Movement of intercessory prayer and catechesis to serve the personal holiness of priests for the “future of the evangelization of humanity” (PDV).

They discuss the present attacks against marriage between a man and a woman, and how the movement to “redefine marriage” is a movement against marriage. William gives helpful talking points to be used in defense of marriage and he responds to common questions regarding the Church’s teaching on marriage.

They discuss how the spirituality of the saints help us to live rich interior lives of prayer.

They will discuss the prudent engagement of the “good fight” and how to “put on the armor of God” for spiritual protection against the fiery darts of the Enemy and prayers will be offered for liberation.

Al Baca discusses the joy and privilege of being able to share the Catholic Faith with other faith leaders and how the leaders respond to Catholic teaching. Fr. Al also shares how Pope Francis is impacting ecumenism.

Father says, “Even for the most committed members of the Church a deep conversion and recommitment to the Mission of Christ must take place in our own lives if we are to realize a fruitful new evangelization. For this to happen there must be a rediscovery of the ancient truths of the faith so there is always a true encounter with the person of Christ.”
Host Kathleen Beckman dialogues with guest, Mary Kotob, M.D., on the topic, “Why Not Contraception?” Dr. Kotob says, “With love and respect in honor of caring for women –we need to give full information so that each woman can learn, pray and discern with her spouse how to best fulfill their marriage vows. This is particularly true in the natural law and for good reproductive health. We have greatly underserved our Catholic cohabiting and contracepting couples.” Dr. Kotob explains why Natural Family Planning is such a great help to married couples.
