Sister Jean Frisk, ISSM

Sister Jean Frisk is a member of the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary, and received her Masters’ Degree in theology from the University of Dayton, and her Licentiate of Sacred Theology from the International Marian Research Institute, where she specializes in Mary in Catechesis. Sister Jean also teaches courses at the University of Dayton’s Institute for Pastoral Initiatives, is co-editor of Marian Library Studies, and is responsible for art and special projects at the University of Dayton’s Marian Library.

Sister Danielle Peters, ISSM

Sr. Danielle Peters is from Germany and is a member of the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary. She received her Doctorate of Sacred Theology from the International Marian Research Institute, and she specializes in education, Mary, women and Pope John Paul II. She teaches at the International Marian Research Institute in Dayton, Ohio and at the Athenaeum in Cincinnati, OH.

Father Thomas Thompson, SM

Father Tom Thompson, a native of Pittsburgh, PA is the Director of the Marian Library at the University of Dayton and accomplished in liturgical music. He is also the Executive Secretary for Mariological Society of America and editor of The Journal of Marian Studies.

Father Francois Rossier, SM

Father Francois Rossier, SM is a Marianist priest who hails from Switzerland, and served in West Africa for twelve years. He taught at the Catholic University there. Father Francois received his Licentiate of Sacred Theology from the Gregorian in Rome and his Doctorate of Sacred Theology from the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. Father Rossier teaches courses focusing on Mary and Scripture at The International Marian Research Institute and the University of Dayton.

Father Bert Buby, SM

Father Bert Buby, SM, a native of Pittsburgh, PA, teaches at the International Marian Research Institute and at the University of Dayton. He earned his Licentiate of Sacred Theology from the University of Fribourg in Switzerland, a Licentiate in Sacred Scripture from the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome, as well as a doctorate in theology from the Marianum-International Marian Research Institute Pontifical Institute in Rome and Dayton, OH. Father Bert is the author of eight books, lectures on biblical topics and Marian themes and has been an active member of the Christian-Jewish dialogue since 1972.

Michael Duricy

Michael Duricy has been responsible for tech support at the Marian Library since 2000 and works on the Marian Library’s Mary Page website. (www.marypage.org) Mike earned a Masters’ Degree in Religious Studies from the University of Dayton and a Licentiate of Sacred Theology from the International Marian Research Institute. His area of specialty areas focus on the Blessed Mother Mary in film and he teaches courses at the International Marian Research Institute and The University of Dayton’s Institute for Pastoral Initiatives.

Brother Erik Otiende, SM

Brother Erik Otiende, SM is from Kenya, where he attended St. Gabriel’s Seminary. After joining the Marianists, Brother Erik studied English at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. He then taught English and religion in Zambia, was Vocation Director for the Society of Mary and worked at the Marianist Formation House in Africa. Bro. Erik is presently living in Dayton, Ohio, USA with a Marianist Community and pursuing graduate degrees in Educational Leadership and Mariology
