October 02, 2015 – Healing through Accepting God’s Ways
We seek God’s Spirit to be one with our spirit, wherein we can begin to understand and accept God’s ways. We receive at least some dim understanding of the things of God, and the grace to believe that all God permits is working toward our good, even though we do not have a complete human understanding, because God is God and we are not.

September 18, 2015 – Healing in Accepting Myself and Healing in Accepting Others
Truly profound self-knowledge and understanding is a gift that only God can give. It is available for the asking. We need simply to knock at God’s door.
“The one who knocks will always have the door opened to him” (Matthew 7:8, jb).
Yes, it will be painful seeing our faults and sins, but we need to acknowledge that we are sinners and repent so that the rivers of God’s mercy may be allowed to run free, and so that we will receive true peace.

September 4, 2015 – Healed in Body
Jesus loves us. That is what He does. He loves. He loves. And He loves some more. His is an agape love, a sacrificial other-centered love. He created not only our souls, but our bodies, which are so very good and beautiful. Everything He makes is good. But what He is most concerned with in the long run is our eternal salvation. Even those Jesus healed eventually died and entered eternity.

August 28, 2015 – Healed Though the Breath of Prayer
Do you know what a joy it is to open up your Bible every morning, and experience the Word of God? Do you know what a love affair the Lord Jesus is aching to have with you each morning, each day? Do you know how He desires to lift your soul and spirit up to heaven? Do you have any idea how much He yearns for you to come to Him in prayer and the Sacraments?

August 21, 2015 – Living by a Hierarchy of Values
Since our family’s reversion to the faith, God has moved us to understand and accept what we believe are His hierarchy of values. Simply, they are the following, with the first having the highest value:
- God
- Spouse
- Children
- Work
- Service Work or Apostolate
We should integrate all of these important values into our lives, but the key is not to allow a lesser value to interfere with or do damage to a higher value.

August 14, 2015 – Healing Through Pouring and Mercy
Jesus taught us what it means to be a pourer. He suffered and died on the cross for each of us, because He loves us. His love is agape, a classical Greek word meaning the highest form of love that is totally unconditional and selfless. He literally poured out all the water and blood in His Body, when His side was pierced with a lance.

August 07, 2015 – Road to Emmaus
Encountering our Eucharistic Lord Jesus on the Road to Emmaus. Let’s meditate on Luke 24: 13-49, a lengthy passage but well worth the effort.
Here we find the story of our lives, of our conversion, our salvation, our spiritual and apostolic mission, and progress. Here we encounter the infinite love of our Lord Jesus, most especially in the very source and summit of the Christian life, the Eucharist.

July 31, 2015 – Healing through God, But Does He Exist? And Healing through Poverty
Perhaps you are struggling with the question “Does God exist?” The answer is an unequivocal “Yes!” By the way, His existence does not depend upon our acquiescence. He is! How can we sum up Who God is, but in His own words, too deep to fully penetrate with our weak mortal minds: “I Am” (John 8:58, JB). Not “I was,” or “I will be,” but “I am.”

July 10, 2015 – Raising Children Up in the Way They Should Go
As parents, God has given each of us the grave responsibility, but also the graces, to be the primary formulators of our children. We can’t delegate this to anyone – not a caregiver, a grandparent, a babysitter or a teacher. As Catholic parents trying to raise our children to be leaders for the Church in today’s society, our families need to live in the world, but not be of the world.
We need to take the narrow path that leads to life – eternal life – even when, and especially when it means not doing what everyone else is doing.
“Jesus Christ is the same today as he was yesterday and as he will be forever (Hebrews 13:8-9, JB).”

July 03, 2015 – Marriage is Always and Forever
In your prayer try to often return to the fond and true memory of your spouse when you first met, and on your wedding day. He or she is still that same loveable person. Perhaps life has presented many challenges you did not expect back then, but you have come through these together, and the providential fire of your tribulations and your love has forged you into the one body you are today, and that is a beautiful thing.
“So then, what God has united, man must not divide.” (Mark 10:9-10)

May 29, 2015 – Courageous Fatherhood
MEN,… fathers: We are made for battles. To be men, not feminine. To carry the weight. To carry our families. To be gentle. To listen. To give everything. To carry the cross. To fight. To never count the cost. To work. To be brave. To lead. To challenge. To protect.  To stand up for truth.  To never compromise the essentials.  To protect life.  To be noble.  To be dignified. To be chaste. To be detached.  To love the higher things. To be filled with faith and hope. To be calm and confident.  To be mature. To be recollected. To be contemplative. To love God and others. To sacrifice. To take the shots.  To pray on our knees. To be men of the Eucharist. To be humble. To be one with Christ.  To die……. To be happy for all eternity.

May 22, 2015 – Wonders of our Blessed Mother Mary
Mary is constant and faithful, no matter what, in praying and interceding for us. She is offering our pain and suffering to our Father in heaven, uniting it with the passion and death of her Son, Jesus, so that the bountiful fruit of the cross of love and everlasting life will result for our soul as well as others. If there are any who do not believe that Mary is their mother may turn to John 19:25–27:
“Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala.”

March 27, 2015 – Mercy and Forgiveness
We release ourselves from bondage when we forgive and gain peace and happiness. This is dependent on us, not on the person we are forgiving, even though that person may not care less that we are forgiving him or her. This type of forgiveness is divine and takes more than we can muster on our own. We need the divine help of the Holy Spirit, which is readily available.

March 20, 2015 – Healing through Darkness and Healing from Oppressing and Fear Continued
Perhaps the most challenging adversities, which our infinitely wise Father uses to bring a tremendous good out of, in order to purify us and to help others in His mysterious ways, are darkness, abandonment, and staring death in the face. Joseph of the Old Testament is a perfect example of this. He is truly a Christ figure; and we are all called to be other Christ’s.
