March 04, 2015 – KERI EDWARDS, WIFE MOTHER ARTIST, COMPOSER, SINGER FORMER EVANGELICAL PROTESTANT: HER WALK, MARRIAGE, FAMILY AND THE PULL TO FULLNESS

Francesca Franchina, MS Ed.  talks with Keri Edwards about her life, family and faith walk; how she kept in touch with her generational roots in Catholicism, rediscovered her interest in knowing more about it and was led by the Holy Spirit to come closer and set out into the deep to discover more and more about Jesus and herself. Growing up in Lancaster, PA, Keri has traveled and lived in various locales. She  came home to Catholicism, launching into her music with a new CD  with the music and lyrics she composed. We will hear her music, her witness and joy filled discoveries on her way home.

As a former Evangelical Protestant, I grew up singing, playing, and writing music about life, love, heartache, and faith as I experienced it throughout my young life.  Although I was baptized Roman Catholic, I did not receive much instruction in my Christian faith until my mother had a “born again experience” at a non-denominational, charismatic church service.  I will be forever grateful for the years of spiritual growth and formation.”
