Thomas Zordani returns to Radio Maria

We are pleased to announce the return of Mr. Thomas Zordani to Radio Maria.
Thomas is a published author of 7 books, including his best-seller Faith Finances.  His book is unique, in that it received the Imprimatur and Nihil Obstat from Archbishop Samuel J.Aquilla of the Archdiocese of Denver.
He is an active member of St. Gianna Baretta Molla Catholic Church in Denver, Colorado, a Eucharistic Minister, and highly active in Stewardship, Family Life, Men’s and Marriage Preparation ministries. After falling away from his faith in college, finding himself and his family in an unimaginable swamp of debt, and experiencing a period of homelessness for him and his family, he began a painstaking journey to learn about personal finances from the ultimate learning source — The Bible!
Since 1994, he has conducted extensive research on biblical-stewardship concepts, is a gifted public speaker, and a renowned personal-finance counselor.

We invite you to tune into Faith and Finances with Thomas Zordani, beginning Friday, May 28, 2021, at 1:00pm Central/2:00pm Eastern, and let Thomas teach us about these learned and proved stewardship concepts.

New program – Medjugorje: Message of Hope for the World

We are pleased to announce a new program on Radio Maria, Medjugorje: Message of Hope for the World, hosted by Ann Vucic.

Ann has been closely connected with the events of Medjugorje since the first days of the apparitions. She has devoted her life to evangelization, especially spreading the messages of Medjugorje through her work as a pilgrimage coordinator and guide, conference/retreat speaker, interpreter for Medjugorje priests and visionaries, writer and radio/tv guest and host. In the midst of the turbulent, morally confusing times in which we live, it is easy to believe that darkness has conquered the world. Many wonder when God is going to intervene.

There is good news, however; God IS intervening already.  He has sent His mother to us in Medjugorje to bring messages of tremendous hope for the world.
Ann’s program will air on alternating Fridays, at 10:30am Central/11:30am Eastern. We invite you to join her as she explores the phenomenon of Medjugorje more deeply and discusses the meaning and significance of these apparitions for our times.

(While the apparitions of Medjugorje are not yet officially approved, the Church has taken positive steps forward in the approval process. Archbishop Henryk Hoser (retired Archbishop of Warsaw, Poland) Apostolic Visitor for the parish of Medjugorje, oversees the running of the shrine and reports directly to the Vatican, effectively placing Medjugorje under direct Vatican supervision.)

Home School Lifeline

So many of you are faithful followers of one of our special and distinctive programs, Home School Lifeline, hosted by Katie Moran. Katie is a highly recognized veteran homeschooling mom who travels the country speaking at home schooling conferences.
The show covers all issues concerning homeschooling, from the person considering homeschooling, to the novice homeschooler, all the way to the veteran homeschoolers. In keeping with our home schooling topic, Katie is bringing back to Radio Maria several rotating presenters, each of whom brings their own unique perspective, with a focus on homeschooling in these unprecedented times.

The first returning presenter is Melissa Savage. Melissa has been married to Jerome for 23 years and they are the parents of 6 children. She is involved in many ministries through her diocese and parish in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she resides. The Savages began homeschooling after realizing the public school system would not work for their eldest child. Melissa was reluctant to home school at first because she thought she lacked what it would take to accomplish the task. As it turns out, God has given her what she needed at every stage. Melissa’s work has been published on CatholicHousehold.com, and she is co-author of Planting the Seeds of Faith. She is also a featured speaker at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Home School Conferences. She speaks on topics relating to homeschooling, Catholic parenting among the chaos, and loves to share how to find God’s grace and love through it all.

We invite you to join us beginning Wednesday, December 9th, at 5:00 pm Central/6:00 pm Eastern, as Melissa assists us in successfully navigating home schooling waters by helping to hone leadership skills, prioritizing your life, tips on choosing the right curriculum, and
achieving a peaceful home school.

Mary, Mother and Queen of the Divine Will

Radio Maria is bringing a new program to its lineup, Mary, Mother and Queen of the Divine Will, hosted by the trio of Cynthia Zack, Laura Riccardi, and Brother Nicholas Riccardi. Cynthia has been studying the writings of Luisa Piccarreta since 1994. With a strong love for Our Heavenly Mother, she wanted to find out what more has been revealed to us about Our Lady’s life beyond the scriptures. She is a singer/songwriter, having performed at the Divine Will International Conference in Florida. At the direction of former Radio Maria priest director, Fr. Robert Young, she began a Divine Will cenacle in her home. She has been in prison ministry, both federal and state, throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania and Maryland, for the past 10 years, performing worship concerts. She is CEO/CFO of a steel structural business, and resides in Cresson, PA.

Laura Riccardi was a public elementary school teacher, with a Master’s degree in Language Arts. Early in her marriage, she and her husband made the Saint Louis deMontfort consecration to the Blessed Mother, and consecrated each of her four children to Her. Her youngest son, Nicholas, is a seminarian of the Marians of the Immaculate Conception. She was inspired to pursue the Divine Will life when she encountered Luisa Piccarreta’s writings in 2016. Since then, she has fervently poured over her volumes, and begun a Divine Will cenacle. She currently works as a hospital chaplain in New Brunswick, NJ.

Brother Nicholas Riccardi, son of Laura Riccardi, is a professed brother in the Congregation of Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary. He currently resides in Steubenville, Ohio, studying pre-theology and the classics at Franciscan University. Introduced to Luisa’s writings by his mother, they made a profound impact on both his person journey, and with his own vocation.

We invite you to join us on Fridays, 6:00pm Central/7:00pm Eastern, beginning October 30, 2020, for Mary, Mother and Queen of The Divine Will, as Cynthia, Laura, and Br. Nick lead us into the rich and deep revelations of the Divine Will.

Cross Roads is back!

We are pleased to announce the return of one of our former presenters, Mark Newman.

Mark was born and raised in a Christian family. His father was an American Baptist Minister, and Mark was very active in church activities all through his youth, graduating from Judson University, a Baptist College, in 1982. His conversion to Catholicism was both unexpected and profound. Through the RCIA process, he came to believe in the Catholic Church as “The Church.” It was also through this process that his real conversion to Christ took place. Since then, he has had a deep desire to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to be an instrument of evangelization in any way He desires.

In Mark’s program, Cross Roads, he will bring the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ to listeners through personal conversion stories, catechetical teaching, inspirational music and scriptural discussion. More than simply telling stories of how people became Catholic, he will share conversions to Christ from both cradle Catholics and those who did find Him in His Church. The program will also reach out to Catholics who are no longer practicing their faith, as well as those who may be considering coming into the Church. By utilizing conversion stories of both the laity and religious, Cross Roads will proclaim the Gospel in a very personal, down to earth way listeners will be able to relate too.

We invite you to tune in to Cross Roads, starting Monday, August 24, 2020, at 5:00pm Central/6:00pm Eastern, and be inspired by the stories Mark will share.

Winning Souls for Christ – New Program

We are pleased to introduce the newest member of the Radio Maria family of presenters, Mr. Isaac Longworth. Isaac is from Woodstock, Ontario, where he comes from a large Catholic family – having six younger siblings – and apart from a few years of Catholic public school, he was home-schooled for most of his life.

In his program, Winning Souls for Christ, Isaac will give practical tips and tools that everyone will be able to implement into their lives to become evangelists wherever they are.
He will teach us to understand what evangelization is; its importance; learn new practical skills to evangelize; foster a new passion and zeal to evangelize; and be empowered by the Holy Spirit to actually evangelize rather than just learn it for ourselves.

Please join us for this inspiring new program, Winning Souls for Christ, at 4:00 pm Central/5:00 pm Eastern, beginning Friday, November 8, 2019.

In keeping with our home schooling topic, Katie is bringing to Radio Maria 4 rotating presenters, each of whom will bring their own unique perspective to the topic of home schooling.

The fourth of our rotating presenters is Melissa Savage.
