Ken talks with Susan Conroy author of “Coming to Christ: Resting in His Love” (Our Sunday Visitor) and Emily Stimpson author of “The American Catholic Almanac” (IMAGE Books – imprint of Random House) Susan’s book is a companion to the EWTN series by the same name. Susan is well known for her work with Blessed Mother Teresa in Calcutta in serving the poorest of the poor – and thus encountering God in them. Her book distills the series themes into five chapters which encompass personal stories, writings of the saints, and practical tips to help readers understand how to “turn and return” to Christ and His love, finding the rest they so often need. Susan explains how to “come to Christ” in the Mass, adoration and prayer, confession, and through the simple joy that comes from spreading the gospel.
