Family Caregiving with Warren Hebert

Family Caregiving focuses on the needs of those who care for aging parents, spouses with illnesses, disease or injury, and those who care for family members with disabilities. Demographers estimate that over 40 million people in the United States are family caregivers, and that between seven and eight million provide care for someone on a daily basis. That care involves administering medication, feeding, toileting, dressing, spending time, caring for the loved one’s surroundings, addressing psychosocial needs, assisting with finances, and more. This program aims to inform, educate, engage, and uplift those who care for loved ones across the nation. Family Caregiving will engage authors, researchers, counselors, and others who can share information about caring for others.
