Renzo Mzzotti on October 26, 2017We are pleased to announce that a former presenter, Dr. Mary Amore, returns to Radio Maria on Monday, November 20, 2017, with a new program, titled An Hour With Mary. Dr. Amore holds a Doctor of Ministry Degree and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies from Catholic Theological Union.
She is the author of Primary Symbols of Worship and the Call to Participation, and the newly released DVD titled Eucharist: A Journey to Transformation, Healing and Discipleship. A Cardinal Bernardin Scholar and distinguished member of the North American Academy of Liturgy, Mary is a highly sought after presenter of parish missions in the area of the Eucharist and Pope Francis Year of Mercy, plus workshops, seminars and retreats. She is a monthly columnist at Ministry and Liturgy Magazine. She is a wife, mother and grandmother!
Twenty years ago, God called her out of the kitchen and into ministry, and over the course of the next ten years, she earned two graduate degrees in theology, while juggling work and family commitments. Before taking on her current role as Executive Director of Mayslake Ministries in Downers Grove, Illinois, she served as full time Director of Liturgy and Adult Formation for twelve years at a large suburban parish.
As a Catholic wife, mother and grandmother, Mary truly understands the spiritual need of the people in the pew. We invite you to tune in on Mondays, at 10:00 a.m. Central/11:00 a.m. Eastern, beginning November 20, 2017, to hear Dr. Amore discuss relevant reflections and stories on the ways we can draw closer to Jesus by drawing closer to Mary, His Mother. Welcome back, Dr. Amore!
