On December the 4th 2014, Radio Maria NY started broadcasting the 9 am Holy Mass live from St Mary’s Church in Manhattan, Lower East Side. We are glad to confirm our commitment to bring such a beautiful celebration to all of our listeners and wish to thank once again the congregation of St. Mary’s and its Pastor, Andrew O’Connor, for welcoming Radio Maria into their parish.

Besides being the third oldest Catholic parish in the Archdiocese of New York, St Mary’s Church is also headquartering Father O’Connor’s Goods of Conscience project:”an apparel line employing local craftspeople and importing wild cotton produced by Mayan Indian weavers who are paid a living wage, that fosters the “cycle of charity”, a process that includes becoming involved in the lives of the poor in a manner that respects and enhances the dignity of all parties involved in the transaction. As O’Connor explains on the Goods of Conscience website, it’s about fulfilling a vision of “a global network of interconnected, interdependent local, self-sustaining businesses—a global social fabric.”
