Chris Padgett to Begin a Program on Radio Maria

On Wednesday, November 12, 2014, we will introduce a new program, Joyful Desperation, hosted by Chris Padgett. Chris identifies himself as a “very zealous” convert to Catholicism, who, along with his family, entered the Church in 1999. He is an author (Not Ready for Marriage, Not Ready for Sex: One Couple’s Return to Chastity), songwriter, musician (he has four solo albums to his credit), speaker, and worship leader. One of the most effective champions of family life in the church today, Chris can speak from experience. He and his family take the call to “make disciples” very seriously. Among other ministries, Chris is involved with Steubenville youth conferences and expertly speaks to young people about maintaining chastity in the midst of a culture that encourages otherwise. Join Chris on Wednesdays, at 2:00 p.m. Central/3:00 p.m. Eastern as he helps us face our sometimes desperate moments joyfully.
