August 26, 2014 – National Day of Rememberance for Aborted Babies – Monica Miller, Eric Scheidler & Gary Anderson

Millions of our American children have been legally murdered in their mother’s wombs to satisfy a disordered craving for immoral sexual activity. Most of their bodies were flushed into urban sewage systems; their remains known but to God. But a precious few–their bodies rescued from dumpsters and garbage bags–have been dignified by burial in hallowed ground at sites scattered around our country.

Today, we call attention to these unwanted children who never nestled in their father’s arms or suckled at their mother’s breasts. Instead, they have been sacrificed on the alter of convenience, accommodated by the professions of medicine, law, and religion.

Our Guests today are Monica Miller (Citizens for a Pro-Life Society), Eric Scheidler ( Executive Director of Prolife Action League) and Gary Anderson (Culture of Life Director for Ohio Knights of Columbus).
Monica has rummaged through hundreds of dumpsters and buried the human remains of thousands of aborted children. She is the author of Abandoned, The Untold Story of the Abortion Wars.
Eric is a second generation activist leader of abortion mill presence, sidewalk-counseling, and a multitude of activities aimed at protecting women and children from the abortion scourge.
Gary represents the Knights of Columbus, an organization that has steadfastly supported pro-life for decades by providing free ultrasound machines to pregnancy support centers, and establishing a network of shrines that honor our aborted children.

July 2, 2014 – Acclaimed international expert on China’s One Child Policy–Mrs. Reggie Littlejohn

Christine Watkins interviews Reggie Littlejohn, who, in sharing her own compelling story from atheist to Catholic activist, exposes how girls are being targeted for death, just because they’re girls. Mrs. Littlejohn is a leading voice, battling forced abortion, gendercide (the sex-selective abortion of baby girls) and sexual slavery in China. Her organization, Women’s Rights Without Frontiers, is also saving lives through its “Save a Girl” campaign, which finds women in China, who are about to abort or abandon their baby girls, and convinces them to keep their daughters. January 21, 2014 – Trent Horn

Wednesday, 22 January 2014, marks the 41st anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Roe vs Wade and Doe vs Bolton decisions legalizing the killing of pre-born children in America. Trent Horn is an appropriate Guest for this week’s “The Quest for a Culture of Life in America” program.

Trent holds a Master’s degree in Theology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville and is currently an apologist and speaker for Catholic Answers. He specializes in training pro-lifers to intelligently and compassionately engage pro-choice advocates in genuine dialogue. He is the author of Answering Atheism and Making the Case for Life (DVD), both published by Catholic Answers.

Making the Case for Life is a very valuable teaching tool for transforming any abortion debate into a fruitful conversation–one that opens minds and hearts to the humanity of the pre-born child while maintaining a non-confrontational environment. Trent’s approach has been developed by refining ideas of seasoned pro-life leaders and applying them with hundreds of college students.

August 30, 2013 – Eric Scheidler, executive director of the Pro-Life Action League

Eric Scheidler, executive director of the Pro-Life Action League, discusses the work of his organization and the planned September 14, 2013 National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Babies, which his group is cosponsoring with Citizens for a Pro Life Society and Priests for Life.

August 13, 2013 – Alan Parker

Alan Parker is the attorney president of San Antonio based The Justice Foundation (TJF) offering free legal representation to those whose fundamental freedoms and rights are being threatened. He serves as the lead legal counsel for Norma McCorvey (“Jane Roe” of Roe vs Wade) and Sandra Cano (“Mary Doe” of Doe vs Bolton) and is advancing the Culture of Life in America in a variety of ways, including fighting for parents rights in the education of their children.

TJF’s “Center Against Forced Abortion” offers letters to parents, fathers, and abortionists to discourage forcing or coercing girls into having an abortion. These have saved thousands of lives and can be used by you to give to a minor girl, her parents, teachers/counselors/pastors or anyone who may try to convince her to abort. She alone has the right to choose; that’s the law. The letters are available at www.TheJusticeFoundation.org.

I also expect to ask Alan about the future of abortion in America. With tougher restrictions becoming increasingly common, we are seeing more abortion facilities close each month. Are we really winning the fight for LIFE?

Another TJF project is collecting the testimonies of aborted women who wish they had NOT aborted their son or daughter. These powerful human stories are being used to convince legislators and voters that abortion should not be an option because it causes depression, grief, regret, suicide, and severe health problems for the mothers–and of course, killS their children.

July 16, 2013 – Kevin Burke

The abortion debate and focus is typically on the baby and mother. But what about fathers of children who mom wants to abort? They may be encouraging the abortion, discouraging, or neutral. And how do they feel after the dastardly deed?

Kevin Burke is Pastoral Associate of Priests for Life focused on ministry to fathers. This is what he says about what he does:
One of the saddest correspondences or phone calls I deal with, is a father who is devastated because his partner, girlfriend, fiancé or wife had an abortion…without ever telling him about the procedure…until it is too late. It is heart breaking, and with what we know about how this impacts men, its also a really serious mental health and spiritual crisis that requires immediate help if the man is open to that. I wanted to share how I respond to these situations. Each one is unique so there is no set formula. You are just trying with the Lord’s help, to reach out and connect man to man (woman to man) with his heart and soul and keep the momentum of reaching out for help…to keep that momentum moving forward. Isolation with this kind of pain, is very bad.

May 22, 2012 – Dr. Charles Kenney

Steve Koob’s Guest for this program is Dr. Charles Kenney, PhD, founder and president of “The Right Brain People”.  He was our Guest on the Quest two weeks ago when he described how he has used his research on the brain (left side reasoning, right side emotioning) to help over 400 of America’s most successful companies market their image and products.  He has also applied these same skills to help the pro-life movement convince abortion vulnerable women to choose life.  He is fascinating!

Steve and Dr. Kenny talk about the HHS Mandate requiring all health insurance to cover contraception, sterilization and abortion.  They delve into the now fully “evolved” same sex “marriage” issue. Dr. Kenny also discusses his ideas for effectively confronting both of these threats to a well ordered society and a Culture of Life.
