August 5, 2014 – Dr Dennis Doody

If you have minor children or grandchildren, you should be very interested in knowing the difference between authentically Catholic Pediatrics and what the rest of the profession is willing and eager to do to your children. We are very blessed to have Dr Dennis Doody describe best Catholic pediatrics versus what else is available. Unfortunately, the most common Pediatrics may not be the best for your children and their relationship with their parents.

What about vaccines produced from aborted children cell lines? Is Autism related to aborted baby derived vaccines? What about Gardasil? Why is it being pushed for boys and girls?

Can parents refuse to have their children vaccinated and still have them enrolled in school? Are home-schooled children exempt?

Is it possible for a Catholic Physician or PA to practice medicine and be true to their Catholic Faith? Private or public practice?

Dr Doody strives to do just that, but he pays a price-a price others may find unacceptable. Where is the support for authentically Catholic health care? How can you help?

July 27, 2013 – Nutrition Basics

Regardless of what we eat, our diets are composed primarily of protein, fats, and carbohydrates. These three nutrients, given to us by God, are called macronutrients because we eat them in relatively large amounts compared to the micronutrients (vitamins and minerals). In this episode, I will explain proteins, fats, and carbohydrates and their various roles in the body. I will also discuss the importance of water, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and phytochemicals.

July 20, 2013 – Proper Digestion and Why It’s Important

It’s been said that “You are what you eat,” but that’s not completely true, because in actuality, you are what you digest. In this episode, I will explain digestion and what happens after we take our first bite. Also discussed will be problems that can occur when digestion is faulty. Some of these problems include acne, allergies, arthritis, autism, cancer, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic heart failure, depression, diabetes, obesity, and psoriasis. There are several ways to improve digestion including improving the diet, with God’s help, adding probiotics and prebiotics, drinking plenty of water, and taking supplements, when necessary.
