Grace is a free gift from God that is necessary for our salvation. Are we responding to it? Grace enlightens the Mind and strengthens the Will. It also makes us friends of God. The amount and frequency of Grace we receive is up to us in how we do or not respond to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. We must always remember that mortal sin (our souls are separated entirely from God) and Sanctifying Grace are incompatible! Living a life in a state of Grace is indispensable for growth in holiness! These are huge stakes, and eternity is on the line. Now is the time to seek the paths of Grace and reap the gifts Our loving Lord has waiting for us.
