Our national program director, Fr. Duane Stenzel passed away peacefully on January 18 at the age of 83 after a long battle with a chronic blood disorder.
Fr. Duane entered the Franciscan order in 1945 and was ordained a priest in 1954. Over the years, Fr. Duane has touched countless lives with his words of wisdom, love, understanding and encouragement. Words could never express how much he has meant or how much he will be missed.
We pray now for the repose of his soul and take comfort knowing that his earthly suffering has come to an end.
