Francesca Franchina MS Ed. talks with prolific Catholic author Julie Dortch Cragon about the importance of The Theotokos, Mother of Jesus, Our Blessed Mother of all humanity and her special role in family life. As a wife and mother of six children ranging from six to twenty five years old, a Catholic business woman, author of numerous Catholic books and holy cards for children, Julie speaks to adult Catholic formation and Mother’s groups. She runs St. Mary’s Bookstore and Church Supply with her husband Allen, their six children and other family members in Nashville, Tennessee. Julie shares her family’s vacation experiences visiting Marian Shrines throughout the USA and how she turned her family ‘s fun vacations into her newly released book, Visiting Mary: Her U.S. Shrines and their Graces (Servant Books) and gives tips for adding pilgrimages into the travel plans for family vacations throughout the USA. Julie is one of the original board members of the Catholic Booksellers Association, a member of The Catholic Marketing Network and the National Church Goods Association.
