Francesca Franchina, MS Ed. speaks with Barbara Trauth Artist and Marian Sculptor, currently exhibiting at the University of Dayton Marian Library. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Barbara graduated from Edgecliff College with a degree in fine arts with a concentration in sculpting. She worked as an illustrator for Gibson Greeting Cards; Shillito’s Department Store, The Cincinnati Post & TheCincinnati Enquire; taught Saturday art classes at the Cincinnati Museum of Art; continued to take painting classes at the Art Academy for seventeen years while raising four children.
